Doug is currently in his 24th year as an educator with 22 of those overseas in schools on three continents. He has served in the role of IB History Teacher, IB Coordinator, and Secondary School Principal in Venezuela, Morocco, Ghana, and Hong Kong. He is currently Secondary School Principal at International School of the Eastern Seaboard, Thailand, where his wife Phyllis is the K-12 Teacher Librarian and his two lovely daughters, Aubrey and Isabel attend the secondary school. He is passionate about inclusive education, and believes there is an individual pathway to excellence for all students in our international schools. He is facilitating the PTC/Effective Principal Course for the fourth year and looks forward to working with like minded educators that want to have fun, work hard, and learn!
