Kristen is dedicated to advancing organizations in cultivating future-ready learners through innovative practices and continuous improvement. With a focus on ensuring that students, their families, and educators thrive, she embodies core values of generosity, joy, authenticity, humility, and integrity in her work.
Kristen has extensive experience in educational leadership. She currently works as the Elementary School Principal at the American School of Barcelona (ASB). Kristen's previous international school roles include: School Counselor, Literacy Specialist, Assistant Director of the Early Years School and Director of Curriculum and Professional Development at Nido de Aguilas in Santiago, Chile. She also served as the Director of the Teacher Training Center Programs from 2019 to 2022 and has been facilitating courses for the PTC since 2017. Her commitment to empowering children and educators alike drives her passion for creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
Throughout her career, Kristen has facilitated professional development courses and presented at international conferences across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. She has also written several chapters, articles and blog posts in Ed Weekly’s Deeper Learning Blog, The International Educator (TIE), and the Phi Delta Kappa Journal.
Kristen holds advanced degrees in School Leadership, Special Education, and School Psychology, equipping her with the expertise to lead and inspire in diverse educational settings.
